Jakarta - Indonesia proposed that Tempe has set standards in the Codex, or Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) is accepted by the international community. He said as an Indonesian authentic food and most consumed by many people in the country of 2,4 million tons per year then the impossible standards by other countries. In addition, expected by the international standards, then the tempe is a great opportunity as the case of instant noodles worldwide.

One of the key points in the standard of Tempe is about standards of quality, durability and content of tempe. From the commercial side, in the international soybean market is also very promising because of the increasing number of vegetarian people in the world.
